The Upper Haight, or "Haight-Ashbury" to you tourists, is the portion of Haight Street between Divisadero and Stanyan in San Francisco. It lies West, uphill, and slightly upmarket, from the other half of Haight Street, which is known as the "Lower Haight". It is also where I live, so I'm going to give you a rundown on where's good to eat here. Aside from my apartment, of course! Because of the tourists, there are a startling number of eateries here. There's also a lot of bars, so I'm going to do my "Where to Drink on the Lower Haight" sometime later. There are a couple of combination places on this list and they are listed below only for their food.
