Reminder: Open Studio this weekend!

Just a quick reminder, folks: my open studio is this weekend. I've been burning the midnight kiln to get everything fired in time for the show, so please come!

All of the ware displayed will be functional, and most of it will be for sale at reasonable prices. I'll also have booze and snacks for people who make the climb to the third floor to visit ... (more for directions)

This weekend's open studios will cover SOMA, the F-zone, and Bayview (where I am). We'll be open Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm. My studio is in an arts building, which should have more than a dozen woodworkers, welders, casters, painters, jewelers and sculptors participating in Open Studios.

Studio Location:

Yosemite Place
1777 Yosemite Ave.
Studio 350 (third floor)
San Francisco, CA

Driving:

Exit the 101, or take city streets, to Cesar Chavez avenue. Cruise down 3rd street to Yosemite. Turn right; look for parking, which shouldn't be hard to find.

Train:

Take the T or K line from Embarcadero, past the Ball Park, and down to the Williams Street stop. Walk one block South and turn right, and walk one block.

Come early (Saturday) before I've sold the best stuff! Bring cash or check, please.

That is a really nice looking piece. Do you ship? If you read police procedural fiction, the love interest in John Sandford's Easy Prey is a potter.

Werner, I'd be happy to ship stuff to you. Take a look at my portfolio and let me know what you're looking for. Or, better, let me know what you want and I'll throw something. http://fuzzychef.smugmug.com/gallery/5817181_mQaSb

Good luck with the Open Studio weekend. Being in a building with all those other artists should be a help for all of you. I would definitely go there! Love, Mom

Send me an e-mail The bowl in the first picture, which I think is also the rasberry and oatmeal on on the first page of the catalog you sent. The royal blue with a rasberry swirl in the pattern shown in the first picture might also work well. Not that it matters, but are these dishwasher safe. I assume they are food safe. Warner
