A Food Blogger Chain Letter

Andrew Wheeler of the blog Very Good Taste posted a list of a hundred things he thinks every good omnivore should try once, and asked all of us to post our list with the things we've eaten bolded and the things we'd never ever eat struck out. Here's my version.  As far as I can tell, my score of 90% makes me the "high scorer" to date.  I'm as surprised as anyone else.
1. Venison
2. Nettle tea
3. Huevos rancheros
4. Steak tartare
5. Crocodile (actually, Alligator, but I think that counts)
6. Black pudding (hated it)
7. Cheese fondue
8. Carp
9. Borscht
10. Baba ghanoush
11. Calamari
12. Pho
13. PB&J sandwich

14. Aloo gobi
15. Hot dog from a street cart

16. Epoisses
17. Black truffle (never got a whole one. Someday ...)
18. Fruit wine made from something other than grapes (heck, I've made it)
19. Steamed pork buns
20. Pistachio ice cream
21. Heirloom tomatoes
22. Fresh wild berries
23. Foie gras
24. Rice and beans
25. Brawn, or head cheese
26. Raw Scotch Bonnet pepper
27. Dulce de leche

32. Clam chowder in a sourdough bowl
(I live in San Francisco, after all ...)

(personally, I don't understand the popularity of these)
